i honestly think since demon world has like, cities and tv and stuff hiei is familiar with technology (even if it operates a little differently) but he thinks its. SO funny to pretend he’s not. they go over to yusuke’s house and kuwabara’s like “SHRIMP i bet you dont even know what tv is” and hiei’s like “then explain it idiot” but he’s not satisfied with kuwabara’s initial explanation and keeps pushing until kuwabara’s resorting to crude hand motions trying to explain how the remote works and kurama and yusuke are on the floor peeing their pants laughing
