FYI – Safe Mode

Hey guys, just letting you know that Tumblr is marking many of the doujinshi I post, even benign ones that have zero sex and only slight violence, are being marked as sensitive. 

So if you’re browsing on safe mode then you might miss them. I already tag pornographic material as sensitive, but these aren’t, so I’ll try to figure out why it’s happening and stop it. 

So don’t look at Tumblr’s safe/not safe marking, check if I wrote “NSFW” or “Rated R” to decide whether it is actually nsfw or not.

Hiei/Kurama for the ‘top!’ shipping query.

Well, I’m going to annoy some people with this (IM SORRY SAPH SEMPAI PARIS SEMPAI) but I prefer Hiei on top, absolutely. 

I prefer Hiei topping, though I do see them as vers, so Kurama would have his turn. And I prefer Hiei on bottom if it’s with Youko. But redhead Kurama? I’m sorry, I see him as a total bottom. He wants that thing in his thing. 

On a more serious note, I feel like Hiei is a lot more closed in. He’s used to looking in from the outside and not being taken care of. I feel he’d be more comfortable starting out in a spot that isn’t so far off from his previous experience. 

Someone who doesn’t trust easily and doesn’t give into others easily suddenly flipping and letting a very vulnerable, emotional side of him show just… doesn’t vibe with me? 

Sex talk under cut. 

In my personal HC, Hiei would be in general a little hesitant. I personally HC him as on the ace spectrum, so he’d already not be too eager to try weird sexual things. And the thing is, anal sex is sorta a step up. I know from years of yaoi, and most of fandom being female, we treat it as vaginal sex, but it’s not. It takes a bit more to like it and be used to it. And for men, a lot don’t even see their ass as a sexual object. Most just jerk off. Whereas for women, it’s a bit more common to want to be penetrated. 

So my thoughts are, Hiei is likely a virgin and on the ace spectrum. I don’t see him letting anyone touch him that way, he could fight, so he’d fight off attempts, and we see how he reacts when a friend wants to touch him in a casual way.

Baby boy don’t wanna be touched. 

So I don’t see him as wanting to be touched being a natural, immediate thought that he’d have when contemplating a relationship. Even with Kurama, who is very close to him and not a threat to him in any way. I don’t necessarily think he’d be scared, but I think he’d be hesitant. 

What I think is that he’d want to touch first, and explore what he’s feeling uncorrupted by others’ opinions. 

My friend and I have this one RP going where, I swear, Hiei acts exactly the way I imagine he would. When faced with the realization that he wanted to be closer to Kurama, he didn’t hope Kurama would reach out for him. Rather, a man of actions, he was the one to tell Kurama to stay still and let him touch him (it was relatively innocent of a thought. Relatively.)

He’s a man of actions. He’ll act. Kurama, on the other hand…

He’s cautious. He’s calm. He’s reserved. And he’s a kinky motherfucker who could cum from the weirdest shit without his dick ever getting a shake. For someone new to sex and intimacy, doing the dicking would certainly allow for easier orgasm. Whereas how often have you read fics where the person being penetrated needed to be stroked to get there? It’s simpler, to the point, so Hiei would top. He’d want to top the first time. 

And Kurama would let him, easily. I feel like Kurama would be cautious, as he often is, and wouldn’t want to cross any sort of line. If putting his penis in Hiei’s butt caused any pain or discomfort, WHELP! Hiei might just decide to leave. If Hiei feels trapped when pushed onto his back, WHELP! He’s gonna go now. If Kurama goes too fast for Hiei, WHELP! FUck you I changed my mind IMA GO.

Hiei is a cat. He’s easily spooked. You gotta be careful with that. So Kurama, offering himself up, letting Hiei dictate everything, set the pace, have the simpler, safer pleasure of putting it in vs getting it put in, well, I think that’s how Kurama would go about it. 

Besides, Kurama is used to not being in control, in playing the demure, soft, kind person. He’s had to consciously shit his pants and let his mom change him. He had to listen to stupid teachers putting him in time out when he could literally murder them with a splinter. He had to put up with being stuck in a group of a bunch of goddamn stupid teenagers. He also doesn’t seem to mind being under Koenma’s thumb the way Hiei does. In other words, being spread out on his back with his legs up in the air and gettign fucked to tomorrow wouldnt at all be out of his comfort zone

Eventually, Hiei would become more comfortable with intimacy. He wouldn’t spook. He wouldn’t feel afraid of losing control. He’d be curious how it feels for Kurama. He’d decide he wants to try it. He’d realize it can feel good if you relax and trust your partner. 

And then one day he’d get fucked to tomorrow wiht his legs strung up by vines with Youko’s giant dick halfway up his body.

Opinion on Yuskue x Kurama?

So, I do like these two. But as a serious pairing that replaces Yusuke/Keiko, I cannot justify it. 

Story wise, A romance between 2 members of the team wouldn’t necessarily be bad. I could even see beginnings of it in the Dark Tournament. However, Keiko’s role would have to change or she’d have to be removed from the show. Having an innocent girl waiting for Yusuke while he sets the move on a teammate would make us dislike our protagonist. In other words, this pairing would be disruptive to the narrative.

In terms of personal needs, Kurama’s careful balance of demon/human parts of himself could mirror Yusuke’s very well. However, I don’t think a romance is necessary for this bond to be explored. 

Yusuke could inject a little of fun into Kurama’s life, and Kurama could help Yusuke become more serious. 

Now, when it comes to my own personal headcanon… I am still quite invested in the OT3 😉 Yusuke turning to Kurama (and possibly Hiei, too) for help with certain demonic… issues, would be a cool plot point for the poly-inclined among us. And as long as Keiko wasn’t treated as dirt and was in on it, it’d be interesting. It would leave Kuwabara out of yet another thing the 3 share, though, so there is also that to consider.

I want to ask this again because I am still undecided. Should I post/reblog clearly, visible NSFW? Like images that, scrolling through, clearly show nsfw situations? What nsfw I did post was usually in a preview, under cut, or written. While the fandom does skew older, I am still undecided. They’d be tagged nsfw and tagged as sensitive in the options.

Opinions? I ask because I don’t necessarily want this to be a NSFW channel, but there are some things I think about reblogging/sharing sometimes, and they’re not always under a cut.
