I just love the dynamics between THE BOYS in yyh like

Yusuke:

• Him and Kuwabara are brothers in every sense of the term and he is EXTREMELY protective of him
• Thinks the world of Kurama and seems to really hold him to high regard (a very close buddy)
• Doesn’t buy Hiei’s cynical tough guy shit for a minute and next to Kurama is the one who goes out of his way to open up to the little shit

Kuwabara:

• He would (and kinda did) die for Yusuke and I kinda emotional thinking about him being the best man at his and Keiko’s wedding
• Up until the end of the Dark Tournament Arc he and Kurama weren’t super close but they definitely were comrades, afterwards they become very close when Yusuke isn’t around they are best friends (running theme with Kurama he’s just a nice boi)
• Hiei pisses him the fuck off because of his attitude and that the fact that he just refuses to be warmer with everyone…boy it’d be funny if they somehow became related…

Kurama:

• He is forever indebted to Yusuke for saving his mother’s life and would follow him to the gates of oblivion, to him he’s FAR more than just some teenage punk
• He finds Kuwabara’s honor and passion very endearing and a stark example of humanity at it’s finest but at the same time considers him a fellow teenager trying to move forward in life beyond all the spirit fighting
• Hiei’s his best friend in the world(s) and the one who knows him better than anyone else. Always cool-headed, mature and easy about their relationship which serves as a nice contrast to Yusuke and Kuwabara 

Hiei:

• He’d never say it but he has so much respect for Yusuke and when the chips are down he’d help him out of any jam
• His feelings for Kuwabara are…complicated…sure he’s really annoying but more importantly he sees him as a polar opposite, someone who smacks cynicism in the jaw and believes that through honor, hard work and idealism he can defeat his adversaries…he wishes Kuwabara would ‘get real’ and stop being such a naive, impulsive kid or else it’s gonna bite him in the ass hard later on. Also he’d never admit how much he enjoys picking on him…and how much he truly appreciates how happy he makes Yukina
• Kurama scares the fuck out of him because he’s the only one who recognizes how powerful and legendary he is and in a twisted way he respects him greatly for that, but more importantly he was the first person/demon/etc. to ever reach out and get to know him personally and after a while they formed a bond arguably tighter than that of Yusuke and Kuwabara, they are lifelong partners in crime and no matter how far apart they are for however long they recognize that
