I’ve never shipped them, but I think Botan is pretty spontaneous (she is a blabber mouth!) and Hiei is a bit too tense around people to let someone get close enough for a kiss. So I thought, a drink or two at a group party, and maybe Botan gets a bit brave and goes for it! I think Hiei’s reaction right after would be to quickly hide, lol

I agree Anon. I always thought she was so cheerful specifically because her job was so morbid, but that moment in the dark tournament, after Genkai’s death… my whole view of Botan changed. She grew attached to these humans. And she’s practically an immortal entity. How much that torture her?
I always believed Hiei would produce tear jems like Yukina. It would definitely be cute as all hell! I’m just curious if Togashi would change their color or something. Thanks for the prompt!
Can’t decide which comic idea to go with next so trying them all out… so either Desert Rose will get an update next, this will, or something completely new will show up. More commentary below.
